CS Sales Costs & Commissions
by Central Solutions
Creates expected, payable and paid sales costs (including commissions) for any sales cost type
Reserve sales costs to be paid for sales orders and invoices
Do you need to pay fees to your sales agent for every sales order? Or to local tax offices? Do you want to budget any transport and handling fees from your logistics service provider and manage the pay off of these costs?
CS Sales Costs & Commissions easily creates sales cost entries per sales order and invoice for each vendor that needs to be paid off. The actual costs can be posted to the General Ledger upon posting the invoice or upon settlement of the sales invoice. Just like VAT entries, each entry will be marked as being budgetted, posted to the general ledger on balance account, result account and paid to vendors. An unlimited number of cost type can be defined.
This results in a clear insight in sales costs that need to be taken, are already taken and paid to your agents, government or any external organisation.
- An unlimited number of sales cost types can be defined;
- Sales cost types, percentages and amounts can be defined per sales agent and per vendor for the shortcut dimensions in the General Ledger Setup;
- Sales costs and commissions (percentage and amount) can be identified per threshold based on the line amount, with or without line discounts and/or invoice discounts;
- The General Ledger accounts for the different sales cost types per vendor can be defined in the Sales Costs and Commissions Setup;
- Sales cost entries are available to analyse expected sales costs and actual sales costs, including marks for entries that are budgetted, payable and paid based on (closed) customer ledger entries
